Rockpeople: Beyond Chester Creek
is a continuation of concise thoughts
articulating the lessons of life
accompanied by stunning images of
Inuksuks built by Carter. Using broken
shards of rock to balance and build
beautiful rock structures Carter
discovered that facing those broken
fragments of life creatively is the essence
of healing. This book is about those
broken parts coming together in families.
Helping people to die gracefully, lovingly,
adds a new chapter to Joel Carter’s
journey with Rockpeople. Carter explores
the depth and breadth and love that only
the end of life – and often the beginning
of a new life – can reflect for us all.
